Shahid Afridi Opens His Karachi Cricket Academy

Shahid Afridi, a former captain of Pakistan, has made a huge contribution by opening the L.A. Boom Boom Cricket Academy in Karachi for young players.

Shahid Afridi said on his social media accounts that his academy was created in partnership with Legends Arena and will give prospective cricket players a place to perfect their talents.

He stated:

A. Boom Boom Cricket Academy, which I will be running, will offer young cricketers the best instruction and training available. The English Cricket Board-approved, cutting-edge fields at Legends Arena offer the perfect setting for budding cricket players to polish their abilities.

The former all-rounder added that they would concentrate on developing the abilities of prospective cricketers who are young and under the supervision of highly qualified coaches and trainers.

Earlier this year, Afridi lay the cornerstone for a brand-new cricket academy that would be developed under the Shahid Afridi Foundation at the Sariab Sports Complex in Quetta.

 

He established the Mega Star League (MSL) the previous year, in which former cricketers Misbah-ul-Haq, Abdul Razzaq, and Inzamam-ul-Haq took part.

 

It is important to note that the 46-year-old served as the interim Chief Selector, a position in which he made important contributions to the development of the national team.
