Shadab Khan Named Punjab Police Ambassador

Punjab Police conferred the honorary rank of DSP upon Pakistani all-rounder Shadab Khan, appointing him as their brand ambassador. The ceremony, held at the Central Police Office, saw Punjab IGP Usman Anwar and Additional IG Sultan Ahmed Chaudhry present Shadab Khan with the DSP badges. Expressing his gratitude, the cricketer acknowledged the honor and pledged to actively contribute to the responsibilities associated with the rank. He affirmed his commitment to assist Punjab Police whenever required.

IGP Punjab noted that several athletes had previously been associated with the police and warmly welcomed Shadab Khan into the department. Following the ceremony, the additional IG guided Shadab Khan on a tour of various sections at the Central Police Office, providing insights into their operations.

It’s worth mentioning that Shadab Khan was recently sidelined from the T20I series in New Zealand due to an injury sustained during the National T20 Cup. Despite this setback, the cricketer expressed his willingness to fulfill his role as the brand ambassador for Punjab Police and contribute to the community.
