Seven Punjab Workers Slain Near Gwadar Fish Harbour

On Thursday, a tragic incident occurred near Gwadar Fish Harbour in Balochistan, where at least seven individuals from Punjab were fatally shot in the third attack of its kind in the southwestern region of the country.

According to local police reports, the unfortunate event took place in the Surbandar area of Gwadar, where gunmen targeted and killed seven people in a residential quarter.

Militants opened fire at a housing quarter near Gwadar Fish Harbor, resulting in the deaths of seven individuals, while one person sustained injuries.

The victims of this targeted attack were employees of a barber shop. As per the Station House Officer (SHO) of Gwadar, both the deceased and injured individuals hailed from Khanewal, Punjab. Last month, nine individuals from Punjab were abducted and subsequently killed in Balochistan’s Noshki district.

The regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Balochistan have witnessed insurgency activities, with a recent increase in terror attacks occurring in recent months.
