Selection Order Unveils For PSL 9 Draft

PSL 9 gears up with finalized Player Draft Pick Order. Quetta Gladiators lead, followed by Karachi Kings and Islamabad United. Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans secure the fourth and fifth picks, while Lahore Qalandars conclude the first round.

Platinum category order is based on the inverse of the previous season’s standings. Each category’s first pick is by a different franchise for fairness. Quetta Gladiators, Karachi Kings, Peshawar Zalmi, Multan Sultans, Islamabad United, and Lahore Qalandars begin the picks for their respective categories.

The Pakistan Cricket Board opened the foreign player registration window. The flagship event is tentatively scheduled from February 8 to March 24, 2024.

Teams submit relegation requests for players before finalizing retentions. All teams have a chance to match the player’s base category after relegation requests. If unmatched, players may be relegated to a lower category.
