Saudi Arabia Will Celebrate Eid Ul-Fitr 2024 On Wednesday

In Riyadh, as the Shawwal moon remained unseen on Monday, Eid al-Fitr 2024 in Saudi Arabia is scheduled for Wednesday, April 10.

The Saudi Supreme Court, on Sunday, instructed all Muslims across the Kingdom to search for the new crescent moon on Monday. The appearance of the Shawwal crescent marks the conclusion of Ramadan and the onset of Shawwal.

In its statement, the court encouraged individuals who spot the Shawwal crescent, either with the naked eye or through telescopes, to report their sighting to the nearest court and provide a testimony. Additionally, people could reach out to nearby centers for assistance in reaching the court.

Ramadan commenced in Saudi Arabia and most Arab nations on March 11.
