Pakistani YouTuber Rajab Butt has responded to ongoing comparisons between him and Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.
According to media reports, Rajab Butt stated in a recent interview that he never believed he could be compared to a legendary figure like Salman Khan. He clarified that he has always admired the actor but never considered himself on the same level.
Rajab revealed that during his school days, particularly in ninth grade, he was heavily inspired by Salman Khan. He said he even got his ears pierced and developed an interest in bodybuilding while trying to follow the actor’s style and personality. However, he described it as a temporary phase from his younger years.
Speaking about a viral video circulating on social media, Rajab Butt explained that the clip was taken during a meet-and-greet event where fans were chanting his name and he was simply waving back at them. He said many people misunderstood the moment and accused him of copying Salman Khan’s mannerisms, which led to trolling online.
Rajab further stated that Salman Khan has a unique and unmatched position in the entertainment industry, and there is no real comparison between them. Despite clarifying the situation, he said social media users continued to troll him over the incident.
He added that many people online make unnecessary comments and criticisms, suggesting that some social media users create controversies without understanding the actual context behind viral clips.
