Another case has been registered against YouTuber Rajab Butt at Lahore’s Nawab Town Police Station after a woman accused him of orchestrating an alleged assault at a private cafe. Police have launched an investigation into the allegations, while no official findings have yet been announced.
According to police sources, the case was registered on the complaint of Ayesha Sharafat. In the First Information Report (FIR), the complainant stated that the incident took place on July 25 when she visited a private cafe in Lahore with a group of friends.
The FIR alleges that two men and two women at the cafe began misbehaving with one of the complainant’s friends. The situation reportedly escalated into an argument, during which the suspects allegedly assaulted the group, slapped them and displayed firearms, creating panic at the scene.
According to the complaint, one of the suspects, identified as Mir Shafi, allegedly opened fire during the incident. The FIR states that the alleged firing further intensified the situation and caused fear among those present at the cafe.
The complainant has accused Rajab Butt of arranging the alleged attack. Based on the complaint, police have registered a case and initiated an investigation to determine the facts surrounding the incident and the role of the individuals named in the FIR.
Authorities have not yet disclosed whether any arrests have been made or whether charges have been formally established against the accused. Police officials said the investigation is ongoing and that evidence, witness statements and other relevant material will be examined before further legal action is taken.
Rajab Butt has not publicly responded to the latest allegations at the time of writing. As the investigation continues, officials are expected to gather additional information to verify the claims made in the complaint.
The registration of an FIR marks the beginning of a criminal investigation and does not by itself establish guilt.
