The Punjab Masstransit Authority (PMA) has announced seven new job opportunities for professionals and drivers. The vacancies are available in Lahore and Rawalpindi under different transport projects.
The latest recruitment includes one Director Operations, one Deputy Director IT, and five Driver positions. These Punjab government jobs offer gross monthly salaries ranging from Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 480,000, depending on the position.
Interested candidates can submit their applications online through the Punjab Jobs Portal. The deadline to apply is August 15, 2026. Applications submitted by email, courier, or by hand will not be accepted.
Director Operations Vacancy
PMA is hiring one Director Operations for the Orange Line Metro Rail Transit System in Lahore.
The selected candidate will receive a gross monthly salary of Rs. 480,000, including applicable benefits and taxes.
Applicants must hold a master’s degree in Transportation Engineering or Civil Engineering from an HEC-recognized institution. The degree must include relevant transportation engineering courses.
Candidates must also have at least eight years of relevant experience. Preference will be given to those who have managed public transport projects in leadership roles.
The maximum age limit for this position is 45 years.
Deputy Director IT Position
The authority has also announced one Deputy Director IT vacancy for the Pakistan Metro Bus System in Rawalpindi.
The selected candidate will receive a gross monthly salary of Rs. 325,000.
Applicants must have 16 years of education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering from an HEC-recognized institution.
Candidates must also have eight years of experience in IT infrastructure deployment. Experience with technical specifications, procurement documents, and contract preparation will be preferred.
The upper age limit is 45 years.
Driver Vacancies
PMA has announced five Driver positions in Lahore.
Each Driver will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 60,000.
Four seats are available on open merit, while one seat is reserved for the minority quota.
Applicants must have at least a Middle-level education, a valid LTV driving licence, and four years of driving experience.
Retired drivers from law enforcement agencies will receive preference during the selection process.
The maximum age limit for Driver applicants is 40 years.
Application Fee
Candidates applying for the Director Operations and Deputy Director IT positions must pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 900.
Applicants for Driver positions must pay Rs. 500.
The fee must be deposited using a Bank of Punjab deposit slip. A scanned copy of the paid slip must be uploaded with the online application.

Applicants should upload their educational documents, transcripts, experience certificates, and the paid fee slip during the online application process.
Government employees are also eligible to apply. However, they must apply through the proper channel and present a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of the interview.
