PTI Alleges Usman Dar's Missing In Karachi

In Karachi, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader and former federal minister Usman Dar was reportedly taken away, according to his party. PTI Secretary General Omar Ayun stated that Dar was removed by unidentified individuals and that the police denied having him in their custody. A video of Usman Dar’s mother requesting her son’s immediate release appeared on social media.

Other PTI leaders also insisted that Mr. Dar should be brought to court if there were any charges against him, allowing him to defend himself. Senior officials from the Karachi Police rejected claims of detaining the outspoken leader, who is facing multiple cases related to events on May 9.
