The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has officially announced that the National Equivalence Board (NEB) examination for foreign medical and dental graduates will be conducted on September 12, 2026.
According to a public notice issued by the council, Rawalpindi Medical University (RMU) has been designated to conduct the examination on behalf of PMDC.
The council has also released the registration schedule for eligible candidates. Online applications will open on August 6, 2026, and the registration window will remain available until August 20, 2026. Applicants must complete the registration process through the PMDC’s official online portal.
The NEB examination is mandatory for foreign-qualified medical and dental graduates seeking recognition of their qualifications to practice in Pakistan. Candidates are advised to ensure they meet all eligibility requirements before submitting their applications.
PMDC has urged applicants to carefully review the examination procedure, eligibility criteria, required documentation, and other important instructions before completing the registration process to avoid any issues.
The council also advised candidates to regularly visit its official website for the latest announcements regarding registration, examination guidelines, admit cards, and any updates related to the NEB examination.
The announcement provides clarity for hundreds of foreign medical and dental graduates preparing to appear in the equivalence examination, which serves as a key requirement for professional registration in Pakistan.
