PM Shehbaz To Meet CJP Isa On March 28 Over IHC Judges‘ Letter

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to meet Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa on Thursday regarding the issue raised by the six judges of the Islamabad High Court in their letter to the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC). Media reports indicate that Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa has requested a meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif concerning the aforementioned letter.

Following this message, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, accompanied by his legal team, is expected to meet with the Chief Justice tomorrow at 2 pm in the Supreme Court. Attorney General Mansoor Awan and Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar will also be in attendance at the meeting. Additionally, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has received a meeting invitation from Attorney General Mansoor Awan.

Confirming the meeting, Law Minister Tarar stated that the Prime Minister would indeed meet with the Chief Justice of Pakistan tomorrow. It is reported that during this meeting, the Prime Minister, the Chief Justice, and the senior-most judge of the Supreme Court, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah, will be present.
