Describing the meeting as productive, Nadeem proposed several measures to further the promotion of sports across the country. The gathering was attended by Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Minister of State for IT and Telecom Shaza Fatima Khawaja, as well as other dignitaries.

Nadeem’s historic achievement took place on August 28, 2023, when he secured Pakistan’s first-ever medal at the World Athletics Championship in Budapest, Hungary, with a throw of 87.82 meters. Despite his success, Nadeem faced setbacks due to a knee injury, which prevented him from participating in the Asian Games. However, he underwent successful surgeries for both his elbow and knee, and has resumed training with the aim of representing Pakistan in the Paris 2024 Olympics scheduled for July 2024.
