Peshawar Zalmi secured a noteworthy victory against Islamabad United by eight runs in the 13th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season nine, propelled by Babar Azam’s remarkable 11th T20 century and Arif Yaqoob’s five-wicket haul. Setting a formidable target of 202 runs, Peshawar successfully restricted Islamabad to 193/9, marking their third consecutive win in the competition.
Babar Azam, leading from the front as Zalmi’s captain, delivered an outstanding batting performance, remaining unbeaten with a stunning 111 runs off 63 deliveries. His innings, featuring 14 boundaries and two sixes, played a pivotal role in steering his team to a commanding position.
