Pakistan YouTube Creators Achieve Major Global Growth Milestone

Pakistan YouTube creators are reaching new milestones as more local channels attract viewers from around the world. According to figures shared by Google, over 1,200 YouTube channels from Pakistan have now crossed one million subscribers, highlighting the rapid growth of the country’s digital content industry.

The latest data also shows that more than 60% of the watch time on videos produced by Pakistani creators now comes from viewers outside Pakistan. This reflects the growing international appeal of Pakistan YouTube content across multiple categories.

During the past year, Pakistan-based YouTube channels uploaded more than 20 million hours of content. The platform has also seen strong growth in medium-sized creators. More than 140,000 Pakistani channels have crossed 10,000 subscribers, while over 19,000 channels now have more than 100,000 subscribers.

Google said audiences from South Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and North America are watching Pakistani content in increasing numbers. This expanding international reach has helped creators grow beyond their local audience.

Farhan Qureshi, Google’s Cluster Director for Pakistan, the Philippines, Thailand, and Frontier Markets, said Pakistani creators are successfully sharing the country’s culture, creativity, and ideas with global viewers. He added that many creators are also building businesses, generating employment, and supporting entrepreneurship through YouTube.
