Pakistan Reveals T20 Team For England And Ireland

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) unveiled the national T20 squad for the forthcoming series against England and Ireland on Thursday.

The squad for the England and Ireland Series includes Babar Azam as captain, with Mohammad Rizwan as wicketkeeper. Other players selected are Saim Ayub, Fakhar Zaman, Irfan Khan Niazi, Iftikhar Ahmad, Usman Khan, Azam Khan as a wicketkeeper, Shadab Khan, Imad Wasim, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Mohammad Amir, Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf, Abbas Afridi, Abrar Ahmed, Hasan Ali, and Salman Ali Agha.

The announcement precedes Pakistan’s upcoming series against Ireland, scheduled for May 10 to May 14, comprising three matches.

Following the series against Ireland, the Pakistani team will then confront England in a four-match T20I series beginning on May 22. These matches hold significant importance as part of the team’s preparation for the T20I World Cup 2024, set to kick off in June, with the tournament taking place in the United States and the West Indies.
