Pakistan has once again showcased its remarkable talent in youth Scrabble by winning the World Youth Scrabble Championship team title for the seventh time. The Pakistani contingent delivered an impressive overall performance at the 21st World Youth Scrabble Championship, held in Nairobi. A total of 183 players from 11 countries participated in the prestigious international competition, with Pakistan emerging as one of the leading nations.
Alongside the team championship, Pakistani players also secured several major individual titles across different age categories. Three members of the national contingent finished among the top performers in their respective competitions, further underlining the depth of talent available in Pakistan’s youth Scrabble programme.
Pakistan Dominates Multiple Age Categories
Ahmed Salman produced an outstanding performance to win the Under-16 world championship, adding another international title to Pakistan’s impressive record in the sport.
In the Under-14 category, Ahad Saulat Fatemi also claimed the world title after delivering a strong performance throughout the competition. His victory contributed significantly to Pakistan’s overall success at the championship.
Meanwhile, Mustafa Farhan secured second position in the Under-12 category, giving Pakistan another podium finish among the younger competitors.

Taimur Wasim Retains World Championship
