PAA Inaugurates Daycare Center at Jinnah International Airport

The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has inaugurated a daycare center at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi. The facility is designed to support female employees working at Airports across the country.

According to officials, the daycare center was inaugurated by the wife of Air Vice Marshal Zeeshan Saeed. He is the Director General of the Pakistan Airports Authority. Senior airport officials and the airport manager also attended the ceremony.

The new facility is aimed at improving workplace support for women working in aviation services. The PAA said the initiative will help working mothers manage childcare more effectively while performing duties at Airports.

In the first phase, the daycare center will accept children aged between three months and three years. This arrangement is intended to support employees with very young children working in Airports environments.

Officials confirmed that the center will initially operate from 9am to 5pm. However, there are plans to extend its operations to a 24-hour service in the future. This would better support shift-based staff working at Airports.

The Pakistan Airports Authority stated that the project reflects its commitment to employee welfare. The goal is to improve working conditions and provide better facilities at major Airports.

Authorities said that similar welfare projects may be introduced in other Airports if the Karachi facility performs successfully. This will depend on demand and operational results.

The initiative is seen as part of broader efforts to modernize services at Airports in Pakistan. It also highlights the importance of supporting working mothers in the aviation sector.

Officials believe that the daycare center will reduce stress for female staff. It will allow them to focus more on their professional responsibilities while ensuring safe childcare at Airports.

PAA added that improving employee facilities is essential for smooth airport operations. Better support systems help enhance efficiency and performance across all Airports.

The daycare center is expected to benefit many families working in aviation-related jobs. It represents a positive step toward improving workplace infrastructure at major Airports in the country.
