The convicted individual, Shehzad, had previously sent a marriage proposal to the girl’s family, but her parents rejected it due to religious differences. The 24-year-old Christian girl had been threatened by the suspect for several months. When she continued to refuse, he fatally shot her on November 30, 2023, within the jurisdiction of the Koral police station.
The judge ruled that the prosecution had successfully substantiated the charges against the suspect. Consequently, Shehzad was sentenced to 25 years in prison, while three other suspects were acquitted.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
