Multan Sultans Defeats Lahore Qalandars In PSL 9

In the 14th match of the Pakistan Super League, Season 9, Multan Sultans secured a convincing victory over Lahore Qalandars by a margin of 60 runs. Multan Sultans displayed an impressive performance, amassing a formidable total of 214-4 in their allotted 20 overs. The key contributor to their innings was UAE international Usman Khan, who top-scored with a remarkable 96, featuring 11 boundaries and 2 sixes. Iftikhar Ahmed played a crucial role in the death overs, aiding Multan Sultans in surpassing the 200-run mark.

Despite the challenging target, Lahore Qalandars fell short and were all-out for 154 in 17 overs. Sahibzada Farhan emerged as the top-scorer for Lahore Qalandars with 31 runs, while Rassie van der Dussen contributed 30 runs. Usama Mir played a pivotal role for Multan Sultans, securing six wickets, albeit conceding 40 runs. The 20-year-old Faisal Akram delivered an exciting spell, recording figures of 4-0-25-2.
