Australia’s Mitchell Starc has reached the top of the ICC men’s Test bowling rankings for the first time in his career following the latest update released by the International Cricket Council.
Starc has moved ahead of India’s Jasprit Bumrah to claim the No. 1 position, marking a major milestone for the experienced Australian fast bowler.
Bumrah recently produced an impressive performance in the second Test against Bangladesh, taking 10 wickets, but Starc’s latest ranking surge has seen him move to the top of the standings.

Cummins, Lyon Climb in Rankings
Australia’s Pat Cummins has also improved his position, moving up one place to fourth in the latest Test bowling rankings.
Nathan Lyon has climbed two places to reach 10th, giving Australia three bowlers inside the top 10.
Pakistan’s Nauman Ali has retained his eighth position, keeping his place among the leading Test bowlers in the world.
England’s Ollie Robinson made one of the biggest improvements among the leading bowlers, jumping 15 places to 11th.
England’s Josh Tong also made a significant move, rising 16 places to reach 17th.
Pakistan’s Mohammad Abbas, meanwhile, dropped seven places and now sits at 25th.
England fast bowler Jofra Archer climbed six places to 38th.
India’s Manu Sothar made a major jump of 28 places to reach 48th, while Bangladesh’s Sharaf Islam climbed 17 places to 57th.
Pakistan’s Ali Usman recorded an even bigger rise, moving up 30 places to 67th.
Harry Brook Retains No. 1 Batting Position
England’s Harry Brook continues to lead the ICC Test batting rankings, retaining his position at the top.
India wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant made a notable improvement, climbing six places to seventh.
Pakistan captain Babar Azam remained inside the top 10 and retained his 10th position in the latest rankings.
Australia’s Cameron Green also made progress, jumping nine places to 21st.
Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan moved up one place to 26th, while Abdullah Shafique climbed seven places to 27th.
India’s KL Rahul improved by five places to reach 30th.
Pakistan batter Saud Shakeel, however, dropped seven places and now occupies 33rd position.
Pakistan Test captain Shan Masood moved up one place to 38th, while Salman Ali Agha slipped two places to 40th.
Sri Lanka’s Sonal Dinusha registered the biggest rise among the listed batters, climbing 49 places to reach 54th.
