Iran has upgraded its military capabilities and made significant progress in rebuilding infrastructure damaged during its recent conflict, Iranian army spokesperson Mohammad Akraminia has said.
Akraminia said the country had used the period following the fighting to strengthen its armed forces and restore facilities affected by the war.
He also indicated that Iran was preparing for a potentially tougher military response if it faced further attacks from the United States.
Iran Plans More Offensive Military Posture
According to Akraminia, Iran intends to shift from a primarily defensive position toward a more offensive military posture.
He said the move was aimed at protecting the country against the possibility of renewed US attacks.
The Iranian spokesperson claimed that Iranian forces had already carried out several “preemptive operations” during the final phase of the conflict.

Akraminia also announced that the Iranian government would provide a financial reward to anyone who captures US soldiers if they enter Iranian territory.
