Maryam Nawaz Sanctions Laptop Program For Students

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz endorsed a laptop initiative for students during a meeting on Friday focused on reforms in the higher education sector. Led by Chief Minister Nawaz, the meeting included discussions on enhancing higher education, implementing the laptop program, and facilitating transportation for female students.

During the session, Nawaz greenlit the laptop scheme, announcing the reintroduction of state-of-the-art laptops to Punjab students after a hiatus of seven years. Additionally, the province plans to distribute 20,000 electric bikes to students.

Nawaz underscored the objective of establishing internationally recognized universities in each district and colleges at the tehsil level. The emphasis was on providing accessible and quality education opportunities across Punjab.
