Man In Punjab's Kot Addu Booked For Raping Fellow Worshipper During Itikaf

In Multan, a man participating in Itikaf at a mosque was apprehended for allegedly sexually assaulting a young boy in Kot Addu city of Punjab, as revealed on Wednesday. Authorities stated that the suspect, aged 28, and the victim, aged 13, were both engaged in Itikaf at the mosque where the incident transpired the previous night.

According to the victim’s statement to the police, the suspect escorted him to a separate area and proceeded to assault him. The victim further mentioned his inability to seek assistance as the assailant covered his mouth with his hand.

A case has been filed against the suspect based on a complaint lodged by the victim’s father, prompting an investigation into the matter. The father, in his statement, conveyed that he was informed about the incident by the mosque’s Imam, detailing that the perpetrator assaulted his son in a restroom.
