Ministry of Law and Justice Announces Paid Internship Program

The Ministry of Law and Justice has invited applications for a paid internship program for fresh law graduates. The program offers three positions for Interns/Associate Lawyers at the ministry’s office in Islamabad.

The selected candidates will receive an internship allowance of up to Rs. 100,000. The internship will continue for 12 months, giving graduates an opportunity to gain practical experience in legal and government work.

The vacancies were published on the National Job Portal (NJP) on July 31, 2026. Applications will remain open until August 15, 2026. All three positions will be filled on open merit, allowing eligible candidates from across Pakistan to apply.

Eligibility Criteria

The Ministry of Law and Justice has stated that applicants must have completed their law degree in 2025 or later.

The degree must be obtained from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

The maximum age limit for applicants is 27 years.

Since the vacancies are offered on open merit, candidates from all provinces and regions of Pakistan are eligible to apply if they meet the required qualifications.

Internship Details

The ministry has announced three vacancies for Interns/Associate Lawyers.

The selected candidates will work at the ministry’s office in Islamabad for one year.

According to the advertisement, interns will receive an allowance of up to Rs. 100,000. The final amount may be determined by the ministry based on its applicable rules and policies.

The internship is intended to provide fresh graduates with practical exposure to legal research, drafting, and government procedures.

Application Process

Candidates must submit their applications through the National Job Portal.

Applications submitted by hand will not be accepted.

Before applying, candidates should complete their NJP profile by entering accurate educational and personal information.

Applicants should ensure that all required details are provided before submitting the online application.

The last date to apply is August 15, 2026.

Late or incomplete applications may not be considered during the selection process.

Test and Interview

The Ministry of Law and Justice will shortlist eligible candidates after reviewing the submitted applications.

Only shortlisted applicants will be invited to appear for a written test and interview in Islamabad.

The ministry will contact selected candidates with further details regarding the recruitment process.

No travel allowance (TA) or daily allowance (DA) will be provided for attending the test or interview.
