Pakistani actress Kinza Hashmi recently opened up about her early relationship with actor Ali Raza, revealing that the two initially did not get along before eventually becoming good colleagues while working together on a drama project.
During a recent magazine interview, both stars discussed their professional journey and shared how their bond changed over time. Kinza Hashmi recalled that their first meeting took place during a commercial shoot where actors were assigned separate rooms, although she and Ali ended up sharing the same makeup room.
Describing the encounter, Kinza said Ali Raza’s chair was placed next to hers while she was listening to music through a small speaker. According to her, Ali entered with a much larger speaker and started playing his own songs loudly while casually talking to her makeup artist before greeting her.
Kinza admitted that her first impression of Ali was that he appeared overly confident, which immediately created a sense of rivalry between them. She said the atmosphere became competitive from the start, leading to playful tension during their interactions.
The actress also recalled an incident involving a social media trend video, where both attempted to record the same trend. She revealed that Ali uploaded his version before hers, which further added to their friendly competition.
Ali Raza, on the other hand, explained that many of the early misunderstandings were influenced by members of the production team who unintentionally gave both actors mixed and conflicting information about each other.
He shared that things finally improved when they unexpectedly met at an airport and decided to openly discuss the misunderstandings. According to Ali, the conversation helped clear the confusion and changed the dynamic between them completely.
Both actors said that what initially began as rivalry and tension gradually turned into mutual understanding, respect, and friendship. They added that working together eventually helped them develop a comfortable and positive professional relationship.
