Jemima, former wife of Imran Khan, set to marry billionaire

LONDON – Jemima Goldsmith has remained in public focus largely due to her former husband, Imran Khan, who has spent a prolonged period in jail. However, recent attention has shifted to her personal life, as reports suggest she is now in a relationship with Australian billionaire financier Cameron O’Reilly.

According to media reports, Goldsmith is engaged to O’Reilly after more than a year of dating. The relationship is said to have developed quietly, with the two first meeting through work in documentary and film production. It is now being described as serious, with the couple splitting their time between Switzerland and Goldsmith’s home in West London.

Sources claim the relationship has progressed steadily, with both families aware and supportive. O’Reilly is described as a highly private individual, and Goldsmith is reportedly keen to keep their relationship out of the public eye.

Who is Cameron O’Reilly?

O’Reilly is a Dublin-born investor from one of Ireland’s most prominent business families. He is the eldest son of late media tycoon Sir Anthony O’Reilly and Australian socialite Susan Cameron.

Educated at Oxford, he began his career in finance, including a role at Goldman Sachs, before joining his family’s media business. He later served as CEO of APN News & Media in Australia during the 1990s.

In 2003, he founded Bayard Capital, focusing on infrastructure and energy investments. One of his major achievements was acquiring and expanding Swiss smart metering firm Landis+Gyr, which was later sold to Toshiba for around $2.3 billion.

Despite his success, O’Reilly maintains a low profile. He has four children from his previous marriage and divides his time between multiple countries.

Goldsmith, on the other hand, is a recognized name in film and television, with projects like The Clinton Affair, The Case Against Adnan Syed, and What’s Love Got To Do With It? to her credit.

She is also the daughter of billionaire Sir James Goldsmith and has maintained a long-standing connection with Pakistan due to her past with Imran Khan.

Jemima’s Marriage with Imran

Goldsmith’s marriage to Imran Khan was once seen as a cross-cultural success story. She converted to Islam and moved to Lahore, where they had two sons, Sulaiman and Kasim. The marriage lasted nearly ten years before ending in 2004, with both citing political pressures and cultural differences.

Even after their divorce, she has remained vocal about Khan’s situation. He has been imprisoned in Pakistan since 2023 on corruption charges, which he denies, calling them politically motivated. The United Nations has termed his detention “arbitrary.”

Following the split, Goldsmith has been linked with several high-profile figures, including Hugh Grant, Russell Brand, Luke Janklow, and Peter Morgan.
