Islamabad United Defeats Peshawar Zalmi By 29 Runs In PSL 9

In the 20th match of the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL 9) at Rawalpindi Stadium, Islamabad United secured a victory against Peshawar Zalmi by 29 runs. Despite rain interruptions, Islamabad United posted a formidable total of 196 runs in 20 overs, losing four wickets. In pursuit of the target, Peshawar Zalmi faced early setbacks but managed to score 167 runs in 20 overs, losing 9 wickets.

Winning the toss, Peshawar Zalmi opted to bowl first. Both teams, having played six matches each, positioned Peshawar as the favorite for this encounter. Despite their previous match being abandoned due to rain, Islamabad United, eager for a comeback, aimed for victory.
