Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi received a warm reception upon his arrival at the Prime Minister House during his three-day official visit to Pakistan.
Raisi, aged 63, was welcomed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and was honored with a red-carpet reception, including a guard of honor.

A well-presented contingent of the Pakistan Army provided the guard of honor to the Iranian President, accompanied by the playing of the national anthems of Islamabad and Tehran.
Prime Minister Sharif then introduced Raisi to members of his cabinet.
During his arrival, both the Iranian President and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif planted a sapling at the Prime Minister’s House as part of the activities for International Earth Day.
