Imran Khan, Shah Mahmood Qureshi Offer Eid Prayers

Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), and former Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi performed Eidul Fitr prayers at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi on Wednesday.

Following the prayers, both leaders exchanged greetings at the central mosque within the prison premises. Jail officials also participated in the prayers alongside Khan.

Stringent security arrangements were reported to have been implemented during the Eid prayers.

It’s worth noting that the former prime minister is currently serving a jail sentence in several cases, including the Toshakhana case, while Qureshi has been detained in a cipher case.
