IG Punjab Meets Shahid Jutt And His Children

Earlier this year, Constable Shahid Jutt gained notoriety for explicit remarks about the Inspector General (IG) Punjab on live TV. Rather than taking disciplinary action, IG Dr. Usman Anwar directed the provision of necessary medical care for Jutt’s mental health issues.

Subsequently, IG Punjab visited the Punjab Institute of Mental Health to support Jutt’s treatment for psychological disorders, maintaining regular inquiries about his well-being. In a recent meeting at the Central Police Office, IG Usman Anwar, accompanied by Shahid Jutt’s family, emphasized the significance of mental health, pledging full departmental support for police officials facing psychological challenges.

Meanwhile, in a ceremony at the Chief Minister’s Office, CM Punjab and IG Punjab awarded promotion badges to police officers. The CM extended congratulations and well wishes to the recently promoted officers.
