The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) will announce the HSSC Part 1 First Annual Examination 2026 result on Wednesday, September 9.
The result will be announced at 11:30 AM. Students who appeared in the Class 11 examinations will be able to check their results after the official announcement.
The result will be available through the FBISE online result system. Students can check their marks by entering their roll number. A name-based search option will also be available for eligible results.
Students should keep their roll numbers ready before the result announcement. The official FBISE website should be preferred over unofficial result websites.
Students from affiliated institutions in Pakistan and overseas can access their results through the Federal Board’s official system. The result will include details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, subjects, grades and result status.
Students can also check their results through SMS. They need to open the messaging application on their mobile phone and type FB followed by a space and their roll number.
For example, a student with roll number 123456 should type “FB 123456” and send it to 5050. The board will send the available result details through a reply message.
The SMS option may be useful if the online result portal becomes slow. Heavy traffic is expected around the announcement time. Students should enter their roll number correctly to avoid errors.
The FBISE HSSC Part 1 result gazette will also provide a consolidated record of the examination results. It can be useful for students and educational institutions checking multiple results.
The 2026 HSSC Part 1 examination is also being conducted under a revised grading system. FBISE has introduced a new minimum passing requirement for Class 11 students.
Under the revised policy, students must secure at least 40 percent marks in each subject. Students scoring below 40 percent will be placed in the ungraded category.
The revised grading scale ranges from A++ to Ungraded. Students securing 96 to 100 percent marks will receive an A++ grade. Marks between 91 and 95 percent will receive an A+ grade.
Students obtaining 86 to 90 percent will receive an A grade. The B++ grade applies to 81 to 85 percent, while B+ covers 76 to 80 percent.
Students scoring 71 to 75 percent will receive a B grade. C+ applies to 61 to 70 percent, while C covers 51 to 60 percent. Marks between 40 and 50 percent fall under the D grade.
FBISE has introduced this revised grading system for HSSC Part 1 from the First Annual Examination 2026. The board plans to extend the revised system to HSSC Part 2 from the First Annual Examination 2027.
Students who are not satisfied with their results may also have improvement options under applicable FBISE rules. Eligible candidates can improve selected subjects or papers by following the board’s examination procedure.
Students should check the latest FBISE notification before applying for improvement. They will need to submit the required examination form and pay the prescribed fee within the announced deadline.
The result announcement is expected to be important for thousands of Class 11 students. Candidates are advised to check their results carefully and save or print their online result cards for future use.
