Balochistan Police has announced recruitment for Constable and Lady Constable positions across eight districts of the province. Eligible male and female candidates can apply for the vacancies.
The selected candidates will be appointed as Constable General-I in Basic Pay Scale 7 (BPS-07). The recruitment will be carried out according to the department’s prescribed eligibility criteria and government recruitment policies.
Candidates must submit their applications to the relevant District Police Office by October 10, 2026. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.
Candidates with a valid local or domicile certificate from Chagai, Kalat, Mastung, Qilla Abdullah, Ziarat, Kachhi, Usta Muhammad or Noshki can apply. Applicants must submit their forms in the district for which they hold the required domicile or local certificate.
Male candidates must have passed Matric from a recognized educational board. Their age must be between 18 and 28 years on the closing date. The department has stated that no relaxation will be provided in the prescribed age limit.
Male applicants must have a minimum height of 5 feet 5 inches. Their chest measurement must be 31 inches without expansion and 32.5 inches with expansion.
They must also complete a 1.6-kilometre running test within seven minutes. Candidates who fail to meet the required physical standards will not proceed to the next stage of recruitment.
Female candidates can apply for the Lady Constable position. They must also have passed Matric from a recognized board and must be between 18 and 30 years old on the closing date.
Lady Constable applicants must have a minimum height of 5 feet. They will also be required to complete a one-kilometre run within seven minutes. No age relaxation will be available for female candidates.
Applicants can obtain the recruitment form from their respective District Police Office. The form can also be downloaded from the official Balochistan Police website.
Candidates must complete the application form carefully. They need to attach attested copies of their educational certificates, CNIC and local or domicile certificate.
Applicants must also submit four recent passport-size photographs with their applications. A non-refundable processing fee of Rs400 will also be required.
Government employees can apply through the proper channel. They must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective department along with their application.
The recruitment process will begin with physical measurements and a running test. Candidates who qualify in the physical stage will then appear in a written examination.
The written test will cover subjects including English, Urdu and general knowledge. Candidates will need to meet the required standards at each stage to remain eligible for selection.
Appointments will be made on merit while also following reserved quotas mentioned in the recruitment advertisement. The department will apply the relevant government recruitment policies during the selection process.
Candidates who are selected will also have to pass the required medical examination. Successful applicants may be sent outside their home districts for training.
Balochistan Police may also assign selected candidates to other police units based on operational requirements. Candidates should therefore be prepared to serve according to departmental needs.
The department will not provide any travel or daily allowance for tests or interviews. Incomplete applications will also be rejected.
Candidates are advised to submit their applications well before the October 10 deadline. They should also ensure that all required documents are attached and their eligibility details are accurate.
