This development is hailed as a significant milestone for Gujranwala, as the city is presently not directly linked to the motorway. The new link will offer residents faster and more convenient access to various parts of the country, ultimately fostering economic growth in the region.

Financed by the Punjab government and overseen by the National Highways and Motorways Authority (NHA), the project is set to adhere to the highest construction standards, ensuring a safe and reliable connection between Gujranwala and the motorway.
