Gold Prices in Pakistan Today – 4 May 2026

Gold prices in Pakistan remained at elevated levels on Monday as the bullion market continued reacting to international economic uncertainty and global commodity movements. The price of 24-karat gold was recorded at around Rs481,800 per tola in the local market.

According to market data, the rate for 24K gold stood at Rs481,800 per tola, while 10 grams of 24K gold were being sold for nearly Rs413,066. Meanwhile, 22K gold was priced at approximately Rs441,764 per tola across major cities including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and Rawalpindi.

Bullion traders said gold prices have remained volatile due to fluctuations in international markets, ongoing geopolitical tensions, and uncertainty surrounding global inflation and interest rate policies. International gold prices were hovering near $4,600 per ounce during trading sessions.

Experts believe strong local demand during the ongoing wedding season is also supporting prices in Pakistan. Despite record-high rates, buyers continue purchasing gold jewelry and investment bars, especially in major urban markets where demand traditionally rises during marriage months.

In Rawalpindi and Islamabad, traders reported stable activity as investors monitored international trends before making large purchases. Market analysts said any major change in global oil prices, US Federal Reserve decisions, or Middle East tensions could further impact bullion prices in coming days.

Silver prices also remained firm in the local market, with silver trading above Rs8,000 per tola in some trading centers. Analysts expect continued fluctuations this week as global financial markets react to inflation data and geopolitical developments.
