Gold Price Reaches Rs477,136 Per Tola in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan recorded another significant increase on Friday, following a strong upward trend in international markets. According to data shared by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold rose by Rs5,200 per tola, reaching Rs477,136.

The price of 10-gram gold also increased by Rs4,458. The new price of 10-gram gold settled at Rs409,067. The latest increase came as international gold prices also recorded a sharp rise during trading.

In the international market, gold prices increased by $52 per ounce to reach $4,547. The rise in global bullion prices contributed to the latest increase in domestic gold rates.

Silver prices also followed the upward trend in Pakistan. The price of silver increased by Rs210 per tola, reaching Rs7,379. The latest movement shows continued strength across the precious metals market.

Pakistan Stock Market Trades Flat

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Stock Exchange remained largely stable during the latest trading session. The benchmark index closed at 176,621.25 points after gaining 29.49 points.

The increase represented a marginal rise of 0.02 percent compared with the previous close of 176,591.76 points. The index moved between an intraday high of 177,528.00 points and a low of 176,110.75 points.

The relatively narrow trading range reflected limited overall movement despite fluctuations during the session. Trading volume stood at 146,706,410 shares.

Overall, the stock market ended almost unchanged, with the benchmark index posting only a slight gain compared with the previous close. Meanwhile, investors continued to monitor developments in both domestic and international markets.
