Deadly Attack on Security Forces in DI Khan, Leaving Three Martyred and 12 Injured

In the Dera Ismail Khan district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P), a suicide attack resulted in the martyrdom of at least three security personnel, with 12 others sustaining injuries. As per police reports, terrorists targeted security forces stationed at Daraban School in DI Khan.
The assailants employed a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED), crashing it into the building around 3 am, leading to its collapse.

Subsequent to the car bombing, the terrorists infiltrated the school premises. Simultaneously, the nearby Daraban police station also came under attack, prompting a counter-response from the police and security forces.
Breaking: at least 6 security Personnel are dead while 16 Injured in an attack by militants on Daraban police station in KP's DI Khan district. All attackers have been killed and subsequent search operation is under way.

In the wake of these incidents, all bazaars and markets in Daraban are closed today. Additionally, both government and private educational institutions in the area have been shut until further notice.
