The Bolan University of Medical and Health Sciences (BUMHS), Quetta, has announced the MDCAT 2026 result for candidates who appeared in the entrance test for Balochistan.
The MDCAT 2026 examination was conducted on September 20, 2026, in Quetta and Islamabad. The result list includes candidates’ names, roll numbers, marks, percentages and other examination details.
According to the released result, a total of 9,596 candidates have been listed. The results have been arranged according to the marks obtained by candidates in the entrance examination.
The MDCAT 2026 examination carried a total of 180 marks. The highest score recorded in the BUMHS result was 164 marks, equal to 91 percent.
Abdul Hameed and Waliullah secured the highest marks in the examination, with both candidates scoring 164 out of 180 marks. Three candidates, Maryam Bibi, Mudasir Ul Haq and Abubakar Waheed, followed with scores of 163 marks, also recording 91 percent.
Several other candidates also achieved scores of 162 marks in the examination, according to the released result.
For students seeking admission to medical colleges, the minimum MDCAT qualifying requirement is 55 percent. With the examination carrying 180 marks, candidates need at least 99 marks to meet the medical college qualifying threshold.
For dental college admissions, the minimum qualifying requirement is 50 percent, which equals 90 marks out of 180.
However, meeting the MDCAT qualifying marks does not automatically guarantee admission to a medical or dental college. Candidates must also meet the applicable admission requirements and compete according to the final merit process.
Students who appeared in the BUMHS MDCAT can check their results through the result information released by the university. The result contains important details including candidate names, roll numbers, obtained marks, percentages and examination centre information.
Candidates are advised to carefully review their results and keep a copy for future use. The result may be required during the admission process for medical and dental colleges.
