Students across Pakistan can now apply for the Asian Science Camp 2026, a major international science program. The event will be held from August 2 to 8 at the University of Hong Kong. The program aims to bring young science students together from different countries.
The Pakistan Science Foundation will sponsor five selected students for the Asian Science Camp. Selection will be strictly based on merit. A two-stage process will be used to choose the final candidates.
The Asian Science Camp allows students to share scientific ideas and present their research. Participants will also take part in discussions with leading scientists. The program includes visits to research centers, laboratories, industrial sites, and universities.
Eligibility is open to science students aged 17 to 22 years as of July 31. Applicants must be regular students in science subjects. This includes students of Grades 11 and 12. It also includes university students in their first or second semester.
Strong academic performance is required for application. Students must show good results in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics. Only eligible and high-performing candidates will move forward in the selection process.
The selection process for the Asian Science Camp begins with a written test. This test will be held in multiple cities, including Islamabad, Lahore, Multan, Karachi, Sukkur, Quetta, and Peshawar. Shortlisted candidates from the test will be called for interviews in Islamabad.
The final selection of five students will be based on overall merit. The decision of the selection panel will be final. No travel or daily allowance will be provided for the written test or interview stages.
Application forms for the Asian Science Camp 2026 are available on the PSF official website. Applicants must submit hard copies of completed forms to the PSF office in Islamabad. The envelope must clearly mention “ASC-2026 Competition.”
Authorities have stated that incomplete applications will not be accepted. The deadline for submission has been extended to April 25. It was previously April 6.
