Opportunity to Study in Top US Universities Opens Under HEC Scholarship Program

The HEC has announced fully funded PhD scholarships under the US-Pakistan Knowledge Corridor Project. The program offers Pakistani students a chance to study at top universities in the United States.

According to the announcement, the HEC scholarships are available for admission in universities ranked among the top 100 in the QS World University Rankings. The initiative aims to improve higher education and research standards in Pakistan.

Students selected for universities ranked in the top 50 will receive full financial support. This includes tuition fees, monthly stipend, and health insurance. The HEC has stated that all major academic expenses will be covered for these candidates.

For universities ranked between 51 and 100, partial financial support will be provided. This includes up to $12,000 per year for tuition fees. Students will also receive a stipend and health insurance coverage.

The scholarship program is designed to strengthen research capacity in Pakistan. The HEC aims to provide students access to high-quality international education and research facilities.

Applications can be submitted through the official online scholarship portal. The deadline for submission is April 30, 2026. The HEC has advised students to apply before the closing date to avoid last-minute issues.
