YouTuber Faces Backlash for Viral Watermelon Injection Video

The Faisalabad Traders Association has filed a Rs. 10 billion lawsuit against a Pakistani YouTuber, accusing him of causing substantial financial losses. The controversy arose from his viral video, which claims that traders are injecting watermelons with dye.

The Association has formally lodged a complaint at Ghulam Muhammad Police Station against the YouTuber.

In their petition, the traders argue that his allegations incited chaos and significantly impacted their sales. They estimate losses amounting to billions of rupees due to the sharp decline in watermelon sales following the video’s widespread circulation.

The traders are demanding Rs. 10 billion in compensation from the YouTuber, holding him accountable for the distress and financial damage caused by his exposé.
