WhatsApp Launches New iOS Feature for Easy Message and Media Forwarding

Meta’s WhatsApp is set to introduce a new feature for iOS users, allowing them to forward messages and media within channels, following its recent announcement for Android users. This update, included in the “WhatsApp for iOS 24.13.79” release, is designed to streamline the sharing process on the platform.

According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is publicly testing this feature, enabling channel owners to forward messages, photos, videos, and GIFs from any channel to their own with ease. Users can explore this by selecting their own channel in the forwarding picker screen when forwarding a message from another channel.

This feature is expected to simplify information sharing across multiple channels, eliminating intermediary steps and enhancing efficiency. In addition to this, WhatsApp is working on various other updates to improve user experience. The company continually refines its features based on user feedback and beta testing results, ensuring the app remains user-friendly and functional.

Users are advised to regularly update WhatsApp from the App Store or the TestFlight app to ensure they receive the latest features and improvements as this feature is gradually rolled out.
