Speaking to reporters from Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, Imran expressed his intention to address the nation’s current state in the letter.
These comments come after Imran entrusted former President Dr. Arif Alvi with a significant role in bridging the gap between the establishment and the ousted ruling party. Imran made this decision after refusing the military’s demand for an apology following the May 9 riots.

Regarding the £190 million settlement case, Imran clarified that Britain’s National Crime Agency (NCA) seized the amount due to suspicious transactions, not money laundering, during his tenure as Prime Minister.
Responding to inquiries about his connection with Farhat Shahzadi alias Farah Gogi and former Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) Shehzad Akbar, Imran emphasized that his interactions with Gogi were limited and focused on his wife’s affairs.
Regarding Akbar’s potential return, Imran suggested that he would be detained upon arrival. It’s pertinent to mention that Imran and his wife Bushra Bibi were indicted in the £190 million reference by an accountability court in Rawalpindi in February 2024.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
