SRK's Jawan To Add Cut Scenes For Upcoming OTT Release

Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan’s remarkable contribution to cinema, “Jawan,” is being hailed as just what the industry and its audience needed. The blockbuster film is set to make its debut on the popular digital streaming platform Netflix, although the official release date is yet to be announced.

To delight fans even more, reports suggest that the Netflix version of “Jawan” will include previously deleted scenes from the theatrical release, adding depth to Khan’s character and screen time. Directed by Atlee, the film is expected to have a runtime of approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes, compared to the original 2 hours and 45 minutes in theaters.

Atlee, known for his meticulous attention to detail, is personally overseeing the re-editing process for the OTT version of “Jawan.” The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Nayanthara, Deepika Padukone, Vijay Sethupathi, Eijaz Khan, Sanya Malhotra, and Priyamani. “Jawan” has achieved immense success, surpassing the INR 500 crore mark at the domestic box office across all languages.

This remarkable milestone was reached within the film’s second week in theaters, making it the fourth highest-grossing Hindi film in India, following “Pathaan,” “Baahubali: The Conclusion,” and “Gadar 2.”
