Soldier Martyred In North Waziristan During Operation
A Pakistan Army soldier was martyred in a clash with terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in Mir Ali, North Waziristan, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). The operation aimed to eliminate terrorists in the area, and security forces effectively engaged them. Sepoy Shakeel Shafqat, aged 21 and hailing from District Khanewal, bravely sacrificed his life.
he area is being cleared of any remaining terrorists as part of the operation. ISPR emphasized the unwavering commitment of Pakistan’s security forces to counterterrorism, with soldiers like Sepoy Shakeel Shafqat reinforcing this determination. Recently, COAS General Syed Asim Munir discussed Pakistan’s role in countering terrorism with a group of 38 students from Harvard University, addressing regional security issues and Pakistan Army’s contributions to peace and stability.
He also highlighted human suffering in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and attempts to change demographics in the region.
