SBBUVAS Admissions 2027: Degree Programs and Eligibility
The university has announced nine undergraduate degree programs at its Sakrand Main Campus. Each program has specific academic requirements that applicants must meet before applying.
The five-year Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program requires at least 50% marks in FSc Pre-Medical or an equivalent qualification. BS Biochemistry also requires a minimum of 50% marks in FSc Pre-Medical.
For the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and BS Biotechnology programs, candidates must have at least 50% marks in FSc Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering or an equivalent qualification, according to the admission details.
Students applying for BS Fisheries and Aquaculture, BS Poultry Science, BS Wildlife Management, BS Forestry and BS Food Science and Technology need at least 45% marks.
The university has also allowed students with Pre-Engineering and Computer Science backgrounds to apply for the five programs with a 45% minimum requirement. However, additional conditions apply. Pre-Engineering students must complete the required deficiency courses in Biology, while Computer Science students must complete deficiency courses in both Biology and Chemistry.
Admissions at Sakrand and Larkana Campuses
The Sakrand Main Campus is offering all nine announced degree programs, including DVM and the eight four-year undergraduate programs.
Meanwhile, the Larkana Campus in Naudero is accepting applications exclusively for the five-year DVM program.
The university will consider applications under merit and self-finance arrangements, subject to its admission policy. Candidates with domicile from provinces other than Sindh can apply for DVM under the reserved self-finance quota.
Limited seats are also available under the Sponsors Scheme. Eligible candidates from across Pakistan can apply under the scheme’s specified open-merit arrangements. Applicants should check the official admission advertisement for the conditions that apply to their category.
SBBUVAS Entry Test and Merit Criteria
SBBUVAS will hold its undergraduate entrance examination on Sunday, November 29, 2026. Candidates should prepare for the test and ensure they meet the minimum academic requirements for their chosen degree program.
The university will calculate final admission merit using entrance test marks and previous academic results. These include marks obtained in the entrance examination, FSc, Intermediate or A-Level, and Matric, O-Level or equivalent qualifications.
The admission announcement does not specify the percentage weight assigned to each component. Candidates should consult the university’s official instructions for the complete merit formula, examination venue and other test requirements.
Meeting the minimum eligibility criteria does not automatically guarantee admission, as final selection will depend on the university’s admission policy and merit process.
