A high-level Saudi delegation, led by Investment Minister Sheikh Khalid Bin Abdulaziz Al Falih, met with Pakistan’s army chief, General Syed Asim Munir, on Wednesday. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the meeting centered on enhancing bilateral cooperation across various sectors.
General Munir expressed gratitude for Saudi Arabia’s unwavering support, acknowledging the contributions of King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. “The arrival of one of the largest business delegations is a testament to the enduring and fraternal relations between our two nations,” he stated, emphasizing the strong bond between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. He also assured the delegation of Pakistan’s full support and conveyed optimism for mutually beneficial outcomes from their collaboration.

The Saudi delegation, which arrived at Nur Khan Air Base and was received by Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan, Minister of Commerce Jam Kamal, and other senior officials, is on a three-day visit aimed at solidifying investment ties. They are expected to sign up to 30 agreements across sectors like agriculture, IT, construction, petroleum, and power, potentially leading to a $2 billion investment in Pakistan.
