Samsung Galaxy S24 Key Features and All Colors Revealed

Samsung Galaxy S24 Key Features and All Colors Revealed

Anticipation is building for the imminent revelation of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series scheduled for the upcoming month.

As December comes to a close, what seem to be official renders of the standard Galaxy S24 model have emerged. These visuals exhibit the device in four distinct color options: Onyx Black, Cobalt Violet, Marble Gray, and Amber Yellow.

Beyond these four hues, speculations suggest that Samsung.com will exclusively present the Galaxy S24 in three additional colors—blue, green, and orange—offering a diverse palette for potential buyers.

In terms of design, the Galaxy S24 boasts a flat display, aesthetically pleasing symmetrical bezels, rounded edges, and a flat metal frame adorned with antenna line cutouts.

The rear panel also embraces a flat design with a chamfered edge, and the power and volume buttons have undergone a flattened redesign. Confirming earlier conjectures, it is believed that both the Galaxy S24 and the S24+ will maintain the use of an aluminum frame, akin to their predecessors.

The rear camera setup of the Galaxy S24 closely resembles that of the S23, making distinguishing between the two nearly impossible.

Notably, the S24 is expected to feature the Exynos 2400 SoC in several markets, including Europe, while in the US, it will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, reminiscent of models preceding the S23. The standard RAM for the S24 is set at 8 GB, with the S24+ offering 12 GB. The baseline internal storage is anticipated to be 128 GB.

The device’s display is a 6.2-inch 1080 x 2340 LTPO OLED, boasting a peak brightness of 2,500 nits and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Camera specifications are expected to be identical to those of the S23, and the S24 will come preloaded with Android 14 overlaid with One UI 6.1, featuring substantial AI-centric enhancements.

The Galaxy S24 is slated to feature a slightly enhanced 4,000 mAh battery, representing a 100 mAh increase from its predecessor. Despite this upgrade, the charging speed will remain capped at 25W, with additional support for 15W wireless charging. While the S24 will not include Wi-Fi 7 capability, it will offer satellite connectivity.

The pricing of the S24 is anticipated to align with the initial launch price of the S23 earlier this year.
