Release Date Leaked For Budget-Friendly OnePlus 12R
The OnePlus 12R, expected to be unveiled globally alongside the OnePlus 12 in January, has garnered attention with the latest leaked specifications provided by reliable tipster Max Jambor.
According to the leaks, the OnePlus 12R will feature a curved 6.78-inch LTPO 4.0 OLED display with an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz. The display will be protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for enhanced durability.

Powering the device will be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, a flagship processor from the previous year. The phone is expected to offer configurations with up to 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
The leaked information also sheds light on the camera setup of the OnePlus 12R. It is expected to feature a 50MP primary camera with an IMX890 sensor, accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro lens, catering to various photography needs. The OnePlus 12R is said to house a robust 5,500 mAh battery, supporting fast 100W charging.
For those concerned with aesthetics, the OnePlus 12R will be available in Iron Gray and Cool Blue color options. The initial launch in China is scheduled for January 4, with the global debut coinciding with the worldwide release of the OnePlus 12 on January 23.
