Rehmat Card Scheme: How to Receive Rs100,000 Aid

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has introduced the Rehmat Card, a welfare initiative aimed at providing financial support to vulnerable segments of society. The program is designed to assist widows and orphaned children, ensuring economic relief and stability for those in need.

Financial Assistance Under Rehmat Card

According to the Pakistan Muslim League (N), the Rehmat Card scheme will benefit around 50,000 families across Punjab. Under this initiative, widows will receive financial aid of Rs100,000, while orphaned children will also be granted Rs100,000. The payments will be transferred digitally through JazzCash, making the process transparent and convenient for beneficiaries.

Registration Process

Eligible individuals can apply for the Rehmat Card by downloading the official CM Rehmat Card application or by contacting the helpline at 1077. The government has simplified the process to ensure easy access for deserving applicants.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Rehmat Card, widows must have their marital status clearly stated on their national identity card and belong to a low-income household. They should not be receiving any other government financial assistance and must not be employed in a government position or receiving a pension.

For orphaned children, registration requires the presence of a guardian along with the child’s B-Form. Additionally, applicants must be registered in the PSER survey, and their mobile number must be linked to their CNIC.

Government’s Vision Behind Rehmat Card

The Rehmat Card scheme was formally approved by Maryam Nawaz in a high-level meeting last month. She emphasized that widows and orphans should not feel abandoned, as the government is committed to supporting them. The initiative reflects the government’s responsibility to uplift underprivileged communities and strengthen them financially.
