Ranbir Kapoor gives advice to couples who are in ‘unhappy relationships.’

Ranbir Kapoor, an Indian actor, has recently made headlines with his film Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. The renowned actor plays the protagonist, Rohan Arora nicknamed Mickey, in the Luv Ranjan directed film. In the film, Kapoor’s character assists other couples who are stuck in terrible relationships in breaking up.

In his most recent interview, the actor addressed some tough questions from journalists. During a recent tell-all, the Bollywood star, 40, spilled some tea regarding if he shares certain similarities with Mickey, according to Pinkvilla.

When asked if he had ever given advise or followed a plan to help a marriage divorce, Kapoor answered that he had definitely given guidance “during school.” He continued to express his thoughts on the subject, noting that the formula for leaving someone is easy and should be followed if ‘you are no longer in love with them, or are ‘interested in someone else’.

“I am sure I have advised some friends who want to kind of get out of relationships in school and all,” Kapoor said. You just must be truthful if you are not in love with someone or if you are falling in love with someone else.”

However, the actor went on to deny devising a comprehensive ‘break up’ strategy like his character did in the film. “However, I have not devised a strategy.” If you’re wondering what Mickey does in the film, it’s probably not what we do in real life. “It’s a hard life,” he remarked.

This isn’t the first time the subject has been raised. Another instance was when his cousin, Kareena Kapoor Khan, asked the actor on her show What Women Want whether he was ever a ‘Makkaar’ in his relationships. In addition to admitting to being a ‘Makkar,’ Kapoor stated that with time and age, he has discovered that ‘being honest’ with your relationship results in a ‘deeper’ bond.

Kapoor appears to be following his own advise in terms of love, as he and his wife, actress Alia Bhatt, just celebrated their first wedding anniversary. Their bond has become even stronger following the birth of their daughter, Raha. Bhatt recently posted a lovely photo of Kapoor and her kid with the words “My world.”
